What You Need to Know
Sourcing, Shipping, and more.
What's special about Venezuelan coffee?
Venezuelan coffee offers a smooth body, bright acidity, and tasting notes of chocolate, nuts, and subtle fruit. Unlike more commercial origins, Venezuelan coffee is still produced mainly by smallholder farmers using traditional methods, making it a rare and traceable origin with a strong emphasis on quality and sustainability.
What types of green coffee beans do you offer?
We offer premium screen 16-18 Venezuelan Arabica green coffee beans from the Lara region — the country’s largest coffee-producing area, with over 42,000 hectares of plantations supporting more than 13,000 farming families. We source the coffee from an association with about 500 coffee producing families in the area.
Where in Europe do you ship?
We ship all over Europe.
Currently we serve roasters in Prague, Berlin, Munich, Ljubljana, Vienna, Geneva, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Tallin and Vilnius.
How is freshness preserved while in Europe?
Green coffee beans are carefully packed at origin in multilayer, recyclable, reusable plastic bags especially designed for coffee exports, with an EVOH barrier layer that can preserve the coffee for prolonged periods without the risk of moisture exposure, pest infestation or fungal growth so there is no need for pesticides or refrigeration. The coffee is stored in climate-controlled conditions in Prague to maintain their freshness until they reach you.
How is coffee helping Venezuela’s economy today?
While oil once fueled national revenue, coffee — though smaller in scale — now offers vital income, resilience, and a path to grassroots economic recovery through empowered rural communities in Venezuela.
